Social Media post 7

 I have teased the release of merchandise on the Instagram Story and twitter so that our audience will keep checking our page meaning that I can post other promotions that they will see.

Draft Campaign Feedback 2

 Digipak design






The Digipak has improved massively, the front cover is great however, the font for 'Norvatova' needs to change so that it matches the rest of the cover. The purple stripe for 'Norvatova' needs to be more subtle but the colouring on the writing is really pleasing. The back cover really goes with the rest of the album and has images on the back that are linked with the website and the social media so that the whole campaign matches each other. The disk and the inside cover represent a spider and a spider web which sticks to the theme of spider bites which is the name of the album.


Music Video



The colouring on the music video has been sorted so that it all matches. We took out some effects that were added so that the video looks more official and like a first time music video. 

We have now got more shots of the drummer than in the previous cut of the video but now its is more even with everyone. Obviously the lead singer has the longest screen time.


The Website



The website changed a lot with added merchandise page and a new title with links to social medias which we will attach the links to meaning that it is fully functioning. The front page photos were also changed so that they were more symmetrical and suited to the website. The image on the front page was also changed to have all members of the band on it.


Social Media.



The social media accounts are being run very well. There is an obvious theme occurring on the accounts. Lots of promotional posts are being made but the images are very conventional of the genre.

I have posted a variety of content which is well consumed by the audience. including the promotion of other new artists and various interviews which involve the band members.

 I have teased the release of Spider Bites on twitter and instagram. Along with this I have made a post on twitter and instagram about how the band was formed a year ago today and talking about all the memories that have been created in the last year.





I have also uploaded the behind the scenes video to the youtube channel.

Social media post 4

 Today I created tour dates for our band. I made sure that they were small venues that they were performing at so that we can stick to having a small artist.



I then promoted a link to our behind the scenes video on the instagram story and on the twitter feed. This is so our audience can get a snapshot of our upcoming music video.



Draft Campaign Feedback 1

 



Alfie's feedback for his digipak. 

 - The disk screen is really good, great design and really matches the overall theme. The colour scheme is great and goes really well.

- The second panel needs improvement, needs more colours that match the rest of the digipak. 

- The spine should be pink or blue, but otherwise the font is perfect and really matches the genre.

- The front cover, great image, and the title of the album looks great, just needs to sort out the banner with Norvatova on it so it is more subtle.



Elle's music video

- A really good edit. So many great short sequences and it doesn't become repetitive and boring because of the variety of shots used.

- We need a few more shots of the drummer but other than that, everyone is spread out equally and it is clear that Ady is the main person and lead singer in the band.

- Bit of colouring on the footage will make it perfect.



Madi's Website




- The colour scheme is very similar all the way through which is very professional. The colours are also very similar to the social media which links them together very nicely.

- There are also links to the social media through the posts and throughout the images used.

- Things to improve on - Sort out some fonts so that they are consistent and similar. Also some widgets and images need to be more equal and re-positioned.

Social Media post 3

 Today I added an instagram story showcasing a short clip of our music video with the lead singer and the Bassist. These quick snippets give the audience quick access to any possible footage to which they will become invested in.


I have also created a post with live tour dates on it so that our audience can check their calendars and make space so that they can book tickets for the band's live shows. I have selected 4 dates at small music venues around the country as the band is not big enough yet for big venues like the O2 or Alexandra Palace.

Social Media Post 1

 Over the week, I made an instagram account for our band who we as a group have decided to call it Norvatova.





I first created an account on instagram under the name of Norvatova__ and have scheduled many posts promoting the debut album and the music video.


My first set of posts were about introducing the audience to the members of the band so they can see the people behind the music.



I used photos from the music video so that they can match with the music video

In the next few days I will create more posts promoting the music video and the artist

We will be required to create a social media page for our artist and promote our music campaign. As an example, I will track The Rolling Stones social media campaign for their re-released album 'Goats Head Soup.'

Websites

 Why do artists and bands use websites? - Easy and cheap way too promote and share all elements of their identity where links to new music, old music, live shows and tours along with merchandise and links to articles and videos containing the artist or the band.

The target audience is often linked to with the theme of the websites so that they enjoy browsing on it. It is also official and professional which adds to the Star Image. It can also easily be changed and updated with the latest information and customised every now and then.


Websites sell consistently and that is why they are often focus on more that social media sites they are on.
