Album Digipak - Draft

The style is very similar to that of a vintage comic/Something from the mid 50s and gives a nod to various superheroes. Having the band members on the inside represents a superhero team like the Avengers or Justice League.

The colour scheme is going to be dark blues, blacks and yellows to replicate the darkness of night and highlight the contrast between the suburban buildings and the light that shines from each household indicating warmth and community.

There isn't really a link between our music video for 'Spider Bites' and my album design, I didn't feel as in there was enough creativity coming from the song that I could base a full Digipak so I got creative and thought of something completely different.

Our target audience would buy our album because of its original design. It is mysterious as it has a silhouette of our lead singer on the front and they may want to find out who it is through listening to the album.

The disc is the inside of the spot light shining up at the sky. I thought because the spotlight is round and can fit the dimensions of a disk. It would be a really good idea to have part of the original scene on the disk to carry the theme over.

The back of my Digipak has the silhouette of the lead singer looking towards the band's call for her to come to them and be their lead singer. This creates mystery towards the singer and enhances her star image so that it can also attract our target audience to purchase copies of the digipak.
